Boxing Daily Report from the Quartey Promotions promoted show at Harare Wutawunashe, Harare,  taking place on 03/07/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Zimbabwe Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Joy TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Duante Makwarimba (12(1) - 3) who hails from Harare, Zimbabwe and Chris Kapinda(5 - 1 - 2) from Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe.  Makwarimba weighed in at 135 pounds, while Kapinda weighed in at 134 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Robert Hunzvi, and the three ringside judges are Sam Rodger, Robert Hunzvi and Steven Joubert.
