Michael Tekere vs Corey Chipeta

Boxing Daily Report from the Kuenyehia Promotions promoted show at Brett Gilkison Gym, Harare,  taking place on 03/07/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Zimbabwe Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Joy TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Michael Tekere (12 - 1) who hails from Harare, Zimbabwe and Corey Chipeta(5 - 2) from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.  Tekere weighed in at 175 pounds, while Chipeta weighed in at 174 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Bryn Chinmano, and the three ringside judges are Edward Chung, Jack Feamster and Michael Mangwende.
