Afram Simambe vs Robert Mpensele

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Zambia-Copperbelt promoted show at Kitwe Chintu, Kitwe,  taking place on 15/07/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Zambia-Copperbelt Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ZNBC, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Afram Simambe (7 - 0) who hails from Ndola, Zambia and Robert Mpensele(11 - 1 - 1) from Kitwe, Zambia.  Simambe weighed in at 139 pounds and 9 ounces, while Mpensele weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mablevi Machila, and the three ringside judges are Jasper Munda, Kwau Ndovi and Kendis Sipula.
