Zain Zaman vs Charlie Mawejje

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uganda-Kampala District promoted show at Nathan Chiume Gym, Kampala,  taking place on 05/07/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Zain Zaman (6 - 0) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Charlie Mawejje(8 - 0) from Gulu, Uganda.  Zaman weighed in at 135 pounds, while Mawejje weighed in at 134 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jevonte Olinga, and the three ringside judges are Ian Koreta, LeBron Omondi and Amer Allee.
