Jakob Schenkel vs Walfrid Bleier

Boxing Daily Report from the Ayensu Promotions promoted show at Chlodwig Kalkstein Gym, Karlsruhe,  taking place on 25/07/2023:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Germany-Berlin Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jakob Schenkel (10 - 1 - 3) who hails from Berlin, Germany and Walfrid Bleier(3 - 12 - 1) from Berlin, Germany.  Both Schenkel and Bleier weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Meino Gerster, and the three ringside judges are Aldus Binner, Spangler Samberg and Eldwin Betker.  

Round 1: 

Bleier advances into close range.  Schenkel pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Schenkel is looking to close the distance and tries to land a left hook, but Bleier sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Schenkel steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.
