Patrick Makau vs Nwa Kariuki

Boxing Daily Report from the Ndovi Promotions promoted show at Nairobi Kaberia, Nairobi,  taking place on 13/07/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Eastern African Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Patrick Makau (8 - 1) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Nwa Kariuki(7 - 3) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Makau and Kariuki weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Richie Bitok, and the three ringside judges are Nathan Andersson, Leon Cassam and Elliot Lumumba.
