Daiki Goto vs Aki Takenaka

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hyogo promoted show at Kobe Tanji, Kobe,  taking place on 14/07/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the East Asian Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Daiki Goto (11 - 1) who hails from Nagoya, Japan and Aki Takenaka(9 - 2) from Kobe, Japan.  Goto weighed in at 126 pounds, while Takenaka weighed in at 125 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jiro Kawakami, and the three ringside judges are Hiro Katayama, Fumio Matsuno and Jun Oe.
