Kris Dodd vs Jack Logie

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-New South Wales promoted show at University of Newcastle Sports Hall, Newcastle,  taking place on 16/07/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Australia Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WIN, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kris Dodd (8 - 3 - 2) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Jack Logie(9(2) - 1) from Adelaide, Australia.  Both Dodd and Logie weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Sneden, and the three ringside judges are Lee Fabian, Vince Roubanian and Chris Sneden.  

Round 1: 

Dodd sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Logie lands a solid cross.  
Logie advances into close range and is on target with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Logie gets on the inside.  Logie pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Dodd pivots from in front of his opponent.  Dodd attempts to land a left hook, but Logie slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Logie drives a solid left hook into Dodd's liver.  
Logie lands a stinging right hook.  
Logie hits home with a right hook.

Logie closes the distance and throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.

Logie ties up his opponent.  Logie is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Logie lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He then lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.

Logie closes the distance and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Dodd steps to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Logie is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Logie drives a right uppercut into Dodd's ribs.  
Dodd quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a cross.

Logie knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Logie lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS DODD TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  Dodd now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Logie lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.

Logie lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Logie whips in a spiteful right hook to Dodd's body.  DODD IS HURT!  Dodd almost instantly recovers. 
Logie digs in a weighty left hook to Dodd's body.  DODD HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Logie drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Logie lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS DODD SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  The ref does not even bother with the count...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Logie!
