Hilario Lugo vs Rodrigo Alejo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Costa Rica-San Jose promoted show at Gimnasio Fight Club, San Jose,  taking place on 16/07/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Costa Rica Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Repretel Channel 11, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Hilario Lugo (4 - 1 - 1) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Rodrigo Alejo(8 - 2) from San Jose, Costa Rica.  Both Lugo and Alejo weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rodrigo Fanta, and the three ringside judges are Ramirez Villalta, Macario Gabaldon and Oihane Clavijo.
