Brigham Segalen vs Canaan Yombi

Boxing Daily Report from the Afrifa Promotions promoted show at Gauvain Feydeau Gym, Yaoundé,  taking place on 16/07/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Cameroon-Centre Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Brigham Segalen (6 - 2 - 2) who hails from Yaoundé, Cameroon and Canaan Yombi(9 - 4 - 1) from Yaoundé, Cameroon.  Segalen weighed in at 111 pounds And 13 ounces, while Yombi weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vermont Mandjeck, and the three ringside judges are Paris Bong, Carolus Bourdelle and Marin Mbuta.  

Round 1: 

Yombi steps inside.  Segalen lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Yombi connects with a left hook.  As Segalen tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Yombi has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
