Yago Bermudes vs Rafael Abeyta

Boxing Daily Report from the Mufwembe Promotions promoted show at Santo Domingo Oeste Franqui, Santo Domingo Oeste,  taking place on 17/07/2023:

Clearly Mufwembe Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Dominican Republic-Santo Domingo Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Yago Bermudes (9 - 2) who hails from Los Alcarrizos, Dominican Republic and Rafael Abeyta(8 - 7 - 1) from Santo Domingo Oeste, Dominican Republic.  Bermudes weighed in at 115 pounds, while Abeyta weighed in at 114 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Federico Francisco, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Acosta, Carlos Ruedas and Federico Francisco.  

Round 1: 

Bermudes attempts to land a jab, but Abeyta slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
