Cuba Ocana vs Selestino Gutierres

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Guanajuato promoted show at Mexico-Guanajuato Gym, Leon,  taking place on 18/07/2023:

Clearly AI Mexico-Guanajuato have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Mexico-Guanajuato Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cuba Ocana (10 - 6 - 3) who hails from Leon, Mexico and Selestino Gutierres(9 - 0) from Irapuato, Mexico.  Both Ocana and Gutierres weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alvino Villavicencio, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Camara, Leonardo Holguin and Juan Gusman.  

Round 1: 

Gutierres sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Ocana steps away from his opponent.  Gutierres throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Gutierres is looking to close the distance.  Gutierres lands a left hook.  Gutierres holds on to his opponent.  Gutierres hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. Gutierres steps inside and throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Gutierres clinches his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Gutierres drives a right uppercut into Ocana's body.
