Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Waikato promoted show at Mike Lovitt Gym, Hamilton,  taking place on 21/07/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Danny Bateson (6 - 1(1)) who hails from Hamilton, New Zealand and Mel Clyde(6 - 0 - 3) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Both Bateson and Clyde weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David Darnley, and the three ringside judges are Aika Rako, Mark Urquhart and John Taitt.
