Nao Taniguchi vs Hiro Sanda

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Aichi promoted show at Kazuhiko Miura Gym, Nagoya,  taking place on 23/07/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Aichi Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nao Taniguchi (8 - 6 - 1) who hails from Kasugai, Japan and Hiro Sanda(6 - 7 - 1) from Nagoya, Japan.  Both Taniguchi and Sanda weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Raiden Oyama, and the three ringside judges are Raiden Matsui, Kenji Shimoda and Aoi Imada.  

Round 1: 

Sanda walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Sanda pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a cross.
