Boxing Daily Report from the AI Jamaica-Kingston promoted show at Kingston Simpson, Kingston,  taking place on 24/07/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SportsMax, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are John Cron (8 - 2 - 4) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and Ollie Bithell(6 - 4 - 3) from New Kingston, Jamaica.  Both Cron and Bithell weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Spotswood, and the three ringside judges are Edward Bivens, Harvey Dennie and Charles Alford.  

Round 1: 

Cron digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Bithell sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a jab.

Bithell pivots to the side of his opponent.  Bithell tries to land a jab, but Cron slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Cron closes the distance.  Bithell throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Cron closes the distance and manages to force Bithell onto the ropes.  Bithell hits home with a left hook.
