Lorenzo Montilla vs Cortez Marquina

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Nuevo Leon promoted show at Ciudad Apodaca Rengifo, Ciudad Apodaca,  taking place on 27/07/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Mexico Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Lorenzo Montilla (7 - 0) who hails from Nezahualcoyotl, Mexico and Cortez Marquina(8 - 5 - 3) from Guadalupe, Mexico.  Montilla weighed in at 154 pounds, while Marquina weighed in at 153 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Juan Velasquez, and the three ringside judges are Rodrigo Salamanca, Santiago Bilbao and Ryo Capellan.
