Ashley Burns vs Dave Ruane

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-New South Wales promoted show at Abdul Guler Gym, Newcastle,  taking place on 01/08/2023:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Australia-New South Wales Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ashley Burns (5 - 0 - 2) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Dave Ruane(5 - 1 - 1) from Sydney, Australia.  Both Burns and Ruane weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Max Ogletree, and the three ringside judges are Dai Lesley, Antwan Campbell and George McRae.  

Round 1:
