Waqar Latif vs Haider Karawi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI UAE-Ash Shariqah promoted show at Jawad Hashemi Gym, Sharjah,  taking place on 02/08/2023:

Clearly AI UAE-Ash Shariqah have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the UAE-Ash Shariqah Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Waqar Latif (9 - 2 - 2) who hails from Sharjah, UAE and Haider Karawi(7 - 0) from Sharjah, UAE.  Both Latif and Karawi weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kashif Bettar, and the three ringside judges are Zain Ibrahim, Abdul Nassef and Danyaal Naguib.  

Round 1: 

Karawi gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.
