Mohsin Bukhari vs Hassan Abed

Boxing Daily Report from the Manyama Promotions promoted show at Kampala El-Sayed, Kampala,  taking place on 02/08/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Uganda-Kampala District Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mohsin Bukhari (4 - 3) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Hassan Abed(7 - 2) from Kampala, Uganda.  Bukhari weighed in at 153 pounds and 9 ounces, while Abed weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Ngologoza, and the three ringside judges are Zain Ahsan, Shontae Batuma and Zachary Akiibua.  

Round 1: 

Abed gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.
