Ian Monroe vs Elliot Saunderson

Boxing Daily Report from the Basemera Promotions promoted show at Montreal Gary, Montreal,  taking place on 22/08/2023:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Canada-Ontario Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Monroe (7 - 5) who hails from Toronto, Canada and Elliot Saunderson(5 - 1) from Toronto, Canada.  Monroe weighed in at 167 pounds and 12 ounces, while Saunderson weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Arnie Waddey, and the three ringside judges are Josh Entrekin, Baptiste Beger and Paul Barrie.  

Round 1: 

Saunderson steps inside and is on target with a right hook.
