Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Abia State promoted show at Hotel de la Paix, Aba,  taking place on 12/08/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the African Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Haaris Diab (13(4) - 0) who hails from Aba, Nigeria and Julien Mendy(11(2) - 1 - 1) from Touba, Senegal.  Both Diab and Mendy weighed in at 147 pounds.
