Diallo Wanja vs Banji Kagwe

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Mombasa promoted show at Mombasa Ogeto, Mombasa,  taking place on 13/08/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Eastern African Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Diallo Wanja (4 - 0) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Banji Kagwe(6 - 3) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Both Wanja and Kagwe weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tavon Wanga, and the three ringside judges are James Baldacchino, Jay Matiku and Nwa Lugano.
