Naeem Makasa vs Mike Iringo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Zambia-Copperbelt promoted show at Kitwe Chintu, Kitwe,  taking place on 14/08/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Eastern African Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ZNBC, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Naeem Makasa (8 - 1) who hails from Ndola, Zambia and Mike Iringo(9 - 0 - 1) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Makasa and Iringo weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Faraji Jobe, and the three ringside judges are Mykelti Shona, Lavaughn Chitundu and Jasper Munda.
