Odion Banjo vs Sergeant Bataille

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Anambra State promoted show at Best Western Meloch Hotel, Awka,  taking place on 14/08/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Western African Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Odion Banjo (8(7) - 3(2)) who hails from Onitsha, Nigeria and Sergeant Bataille(11 - 2) from Abidjan, Ivory Coast.  Banjo weighed in at 236 pounds And 5 ounces, while Bataille weighed in at 237 pounds And 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Declan Obaraku, and the three ringside judges are Theophilus Igun, Ogenyi Odibe and Chigozie Mostyn.
