Santiago Mamon vs Francisco Cardenas

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ecuador-Azuay promoted show at Cuenco Canchola, Cuenco,  taking place on 14/08/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the South American Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports Latin America, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Santiago Mamon (11(5) - 0) who hails from Cuenco, Ecuador and Francisco Cardenas(12 - 0) from Cochabamba, Bolivia.  Both Mamon and Cardenas weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Guido Truxillo, and the three ringside judges are Dimos Siman, Joaquin Magan and Baltasar Ozuna.
