Marvin Marodt vs Lode Gielen

Boxing Daily Report from the Pianim Promotions promoted show at Ghent Baude, Ghent,  taking place on 15/08/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Belgium-Flanders Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sport10, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Marvin Marodt (11 - 3) who hails from Ghent, Belgium and Lode Gielen(9(1) - 2) from Antwerp, Belgium.  Marodt weighed in at 129 pounds and 13 ounces, while Gielen weighed in at 129 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Edeward Van Beuvays, and the three ringside judges are Gillis Haverbeke, Lexis Camerman and Lodewijk Fierens.
