Diego Rangel vs Ramirez Ponce

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Nuevo Leon promoted show at Monterrey Jaime, Monterrey,  taking place on 18/08/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Mexico-Nuevo Leon Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Rangel (5 - 0) who hails from Guadalupe, Mexico and Ramirez Ponce(11 - 3) from Ciudad Apodaca, Mexico.  Both Rangel and Ponce weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Angel Capistran, and the three ringside judges are Joaquin Andino, Carlos Benavente and Onofre Medero.
