Elliot Stirling vs Gus Howey

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-North Carolina promoted show at Serero Gym, Raleigh,  taking place on 19/08/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-South Atlantic Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Elliot Stirling (6 - 4 - 2) who hails from Charlotte, USA and Gus Howey(5 - 0) from Charlotte, USA.  Both Stirling and Howey weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Danny Egerton, and the three ringside judges are Gareth McCoach, John Gerrie and Owen Johns.  

Round 1: 

Howey gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Howey gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.
