Tino Gabriele vs Rico Schirru

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Italy-Piedmont promoted show at Turin Ucchielli, Turin,  taking place on 22/08/2023:

Clearly AI Italy-Piedmont have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Italy-Piedmont Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Tino Gabriele (5 - 1 - 2) who hails from Turin, Italy and Rico Schirru(9 - 0) from Turin, Italy.  Both Gabriele and Schirru weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vanni La Russa, and the three ringside judges are Alberto Ghezzi, Enzo Beccalossi and Fabio Rauti.
