John Gitari vs Steven Ertzgaard

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Mombasa promoted show at Razi Masinde Gym, Mombasa,  taking place on 24/08/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Kenya-Mombasa Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Gitari (8 - 4 - 3) who hails from Mombasa, Kenya and Steven Ertzgaard(5 - 5 - 2) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Gitari weighed in at 117 pounds and 6 ounces, while Ertzgaard weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lisimba Dalrymple, and the three ringside judges are Jay Matiku, James Baldacchino and Joey Keino.
