Angel Carris vs Ovidio Almeda

Boxing Daily Report from the Mogoeng Promotions promoted show at Juan Placido Gym, Recife,  taking place on 07/09/2023:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Brazil-Pernambuco Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Angel Carris (9(2) - 1) who hails from Recife, Brazil and Ovidio Almeda(8 - 5 - 1) from Recife, Brazil.  Carris weighed in at 140 pounds, while Almeda weighed in at 139 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Coelho, and the three ringside judges are Orlando Medeiros, Ximen Espindola and Kiki Lopes.
