Boxing Daily Report from the AI Latvia-Riga promoted show at Riga Gaishais, Riga,  taking place on 25/08/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Latvia-Riga Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Viasat Sport Baltic, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vasili Bedrite (5 - 0) who hails from Riga, Latvia and Dmitriy Upurs(3 - 1) from Riga, Latvia.  Bedrite weighed in at 153 pounds and 7 ounces, while Upurs weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ivan Prusis, and the three ringside judges are Goga Biezbardis, Afanas Tevinsh and Fadei Zvaigznite.
