Zacarias Matias vs Berto Labrada

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Baja California promoted show at Baltasar Estremera Gym, Ensenada,  taking place on 26/08/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Mexico Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Zacarias Matias (15 - 1) who hails from Juarez, Mexico and Berto Labrada(6(1) - 1 - 2) from Mexicali, Mexico.  Both Matias and Labrada weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jeraldo Toribio, and the three ringside judges are Rodrigo Moreno, Xabat Badillo and Gervasio Sastre.  

Round 1: 

Labrada advances into close range.  Labrada pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Matias's body.
