Bryn Taylor vs Denton Mortland

Boxing Daily Report from the Nkoloma Promotions promoted show at Brendan Adam Gym, Manukau,  taking place on 27/08/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bryn Taylor (5 - 5 - 4) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and Denton Mortland(9 - 7 - 2) from Auckland, New Zealand.  Both Taylor and Mortland weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kahorere Hakaipari, and the three ringside judges are Dale Mostyn, Glynn Telford and Mark Kinzey.  

Round 1: 

The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Taylor has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
