Merck Oom vs Bonne Raes

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Netherlands-North Holland promoted show at Albinus Aernouds Gym, Amsterdam,  taking place on 28/08/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Netherlands Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Merck Oom (11 - 2) who hails from Amsterdam, Netherlands and Bonne Raes(10 - 1) from The Hague, Netherlands.  Oom weighed in at 147 pounds, while Raes weighed in at 146 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Tist Ghyhoet, and the three ringside judges are Colbrant Wendens, Mahieu Van Cotenghys and Giede Feys.
