Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Waikato promoted show at Hamilton Smith, Hamilton,  taking place on 29/08/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the New Zealand Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kian Hopa (11 - 1 - 1) who hails from Waitakere, New Zealand and Dan Fail(11 - 1 - 1) from Hamilton, New Zealand.  Both Hopa and Fail weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jake Ewart, and the three ringside judges are Danny Ewing, Aika Rako and Michael Pareraukawa.
