Macario Awitan vs Diego Baste

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-Rizal promoted show at Olindo Espino Gym, Antipolo,  taking place on 29/08/2023:

Clearly AI Philippines-Rizal have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Philippines-Rizal Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Macario Awitan (8 - 0) who hails from Taytay, Philippines and Diego Baste(6 - 6) from Antipolo, Philippines.  Both Awitan and Baste weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Diego Correira, and the three ringside judges are Nicholas Tauyan, Franco Gurule and Diego Correira.
