Baptiste Diamanka vs Laron de Balzac

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Senegal-Dakar promoted show at Sylvain Bugul Gym, Dakar,  taking place on 31/08/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Senegal-Dakar Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RTS, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Baptiste Diamanka (7(1) - 4 - 2) who hails from Pikine, Senegal and Laron de Balzac(10(1) - 2) from Dakar, Senegal.  Both Diamanka and de Balzac weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dominique Le Roy Ladurie, and the three ringside judges are Valentin Gasson, Boyce Perec and Royal Ankah.  

Round 1:
