Ryo Muriel vs Leonardo Borrero

Boxing Daily Report from the Kwei Promotions promoted show at Alicante Bonito, Alicante,  taking place on 31/08/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Spain Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Marca TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ryo Muriel (11(3) - 2) who hails from Bilbao, Spain and Leonardo Borrero(11(3) - 1) from Elche, Spain.  Both Muriel and Borrero weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Xaverius Pollino, and the three ringside judges are Angel Galea, Quinto Quezada and Diego Escarcega.  

Round 1: 

Muriel lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.
