Davie Choombe vs Shaquille Chihana

Boxing Daily Report from the Daduryan Promotions promoted show at Charles Mabaso Gym, Lusaka,  taking place on 03/09/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Zambia Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ZNBC, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Davie Choombe (6 - 7) who hails from Lusaka, Zambia and Shaquille Chihana(7 - 0) from Lusaka, Zambia.  Both Choombe and Chihana weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kwamin Sichinga, and the three ringside judges are Ludacris Nana, Wayne Chimuka and Ludacris Nana.  

Round 1: 

Chihana advances into close range and digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Chihana lands a cross.  
Choombe lands a cross to Chihana's body.  
Chihana is looking to close the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Chihana walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Chihana is on target with a left uppercut to Choombe's body.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Chihana.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
