Alik Lach vs Marlen Pavlovich

Boxing Daily Report from the Assiful Promotions promoted show at Chelelwa Gym, Novokuznetsk,  taking place on 20/09/2023:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Russia-Kemerovo Oblast Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alik Lach (9 - 0) who hails from Novokuznetsk, Russia and Marlen Pavlovich(2 - 7 - 3) from Novokuznetsk, Russia.  Lach weighed in at 249 pounds And 9 ounces, while Pavlovich weighed in at 248 pounds And 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Andrii Zlotnik, and the three ringside judges are Yulian Saitov, Dmitriy Koksharov and Sergei Tarasov.  

Round 1:

Lach lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Lach throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Pavlovich's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Lach advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Pavlovich gets on the inside.  Pavlovich is not fighting as well as he'd like.   He pushes his head into Lach's face...that looked intentional!  The ref tells Pavlovich to keep his head out of his opponents face.  He gives Lach time to recover.
