Boxing Daily Report from the Kuenyehia Promotions promoted show at Harare Basketball Club, Harare,  taking place on 20/09/2023:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Zimbabwe-Bulawayo Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jayvyn Mukoneweshuro (8 - 3(1) - 2) who hails from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and Sam Mawoyo(4 - 6 - 5) from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.  Both Mukoneweshuro and Mawoyo weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dillon Mutasa, and the three ringside judges are Makalo Ncube, Arran Sibanda and Dominic Mangwende.

Mukoneweshuro waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Mawoyo tries to land a cross, but Mukoneweshuro blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Mukoneweshuro switches the action to the outside.  Mawoyo hits home with a cross.  
Mawoyo steps inside.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Mukoneweshuro dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Mukoneweshuro strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Mawoyo advances into close range.  Mawoyo pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Mukoneweshuro lands a left hook.  Mawoyo wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Mukoneweshuro has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Mawoyo is on target with an overhand right.
