Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Gold Reef Entertainment Centre, Johannesburg,  taking place on 13/09/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Naftali Afful (8 - 0 - 1) who hails from Soweto, South Africa and Alastair macheso(14(8) - 1 - 1) from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.  Afful weighed in at 146 pounds and 11 ounces, while macheso weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Quannell Poku, and the three ringside judges are Mzikayise Tlolane, Michael Grobbelaar and Amon Makwetla.
