Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ireland-Leinster promoted show at Dublin Sloan, Dublin,  taking place on 16/09/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Celtic Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Patrick McVicar (5 - 9 - 2) who hails from Dun Laoghaire, Ireland and Matthew Duane(6 - 6 - 2) from Limerick, Ireland.  Both McVicar and Duane weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Liam Ryan, and the three ringside judges are Floyd Hobbs, Eoghan Markey and Shane Cody.  

Round 1: 

Duane steps inside and lands a left hook.  Duane throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Duane switches the action to the outside.  Duane sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Duane throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.
