Rico Florez vs Ovidio Pinero

Boxing Daily Report from the Delle Promotions promoted show at Santiago Polanco Gym, Barranquilla,  taking place on 17/09/2023:

Clearly Delle Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Colombia-Atlantico Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rico Florez (12 - 1) who hails from Soledad, Colombia and Ovidio Pinero(12 - 0) from Barranquilla, Colombia.  Both Florez and Pinero weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rodrigo Torres, and the three ringside judges are Vidal Casillas, Alfonso Rayos and Rodrigo Torres.  

Round 1: 

Pinero gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Pinero holds on to his opponent.  Pinero leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.
