John Pierson vs Bryan Whelan

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Virginia promoted show at Vincent McCorquodale Gym, Virginia Beach,  taking place on 17/09/2023:

Clearly AI USA-Virginia have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Virginia Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Pierson (6 - 5(1)) who hails from Chesapeake, USA and Bryan Whelan(4 - 2 - 3) from Norfolk, USA.  Both Pierson and Whelan weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Justin Morgan, and the three ringside judges are Sam Malcomson, Cole Scott and Thomas Miller.
