Ancaeus Gekas vs Piotr Demo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Greece-Central Macedonia promoted show at Darien Ganas Gym, Thessaloniki,  taking place on 19/09/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Greece Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ERT1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ancaeus Gekas (7 - 4 - 1) who hails from Athens, Greece and Piotr Demo(8 - 2 - 3) from Thessaloniki, Greece.  Both Gekas and Demo weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Damaris Zervos, and the three ringside judges are Aeolus Stamos, Abydos Mavros and Phlegethon Straka.  

Round 1: 

Gekas strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Gekas steps to the outside.  Demo hits home with a cross.  
Demo closes the distance.  Gekas pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Demo is looking to keep the action on the outside and throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Gekas to the neutral corner.  He has a stern word with Demo and threatens a point deduction if continues to foul.
