Arun Ram vs Vishal Iyer

Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-West Bengal promoted show at Kolkata Swaroop, Kolkata,  taking place on 21/09/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the India Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TEN Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Arun Ram (7 - 2) who hails from Kolkata, India and Vishal Iyer(6 - 6 - 3) from Kolkata, India.  Both Ram and Iyer weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Karan Vijay, and the three ringside judges are Mandeep Banerjee, Vijay Bajwa and Rohit Sarang.  

Round 1: 

Iyer steps inside.  Ram lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the head.
