John Husky vs Aketu Rapira

Boxing Daily Report from the Simasiku Promotions promoted show at Waitakere Potiki, Waitakere,  taking place on 26/09/2023:

Clearly Simasiku Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the New Zealand-Auckland Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Husky (7 - 6) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and Aketu Rapira(8 - 4 - 3) from Auckland, New Zealand.  Both Husky and Rapira weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joe Prosser, and the three ringside judges are Ellis Raharuhi, Glynn Telford and Joey Bridgeforth.
