Jonathan Muncie vs Daniel Pye

Boxing Daily Report from the Nkoloma Promotions promoted show at Waitakere Gilmer, Waitakere,  taking place on 26/09/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the New Zealand-Auckland Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jonathan Muncie (4 - 9(2) - 4) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and Daniel Pye(7 - 2) from Manukau, New Zealand.  Muncie weighed in at 153 pounds And 8 ounces, while Pye weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Colin Lawder, and the three ringside judges are Jake Smith, Jack Hislop and Dave Loar.
